RW News: Jeopardy! will Visit Florida A&M University to Recruit Contestants

Members from Jeopardy! will visit Florida A&M University Tuesday, January 29, and Wednesday, January 30 to find FAMU administrators, faculty, staff, students and alumni to be contestants for both the College Championship and regular shows.

FAMU is one of six colleges or universities in the U.S. and the only historically black college or
university that Jeopardy! will visit.

“We think Florida A&M University is a great university,” said Maggie Speak, Jeopardy! contestant executive. “We are really excited about going to the university.”

To be eligible for the College Championship, interested individuals must be a full time student with no previous bachelor’s degree. To be a contestant for the regular show, individuals must be 18 years of age or older.
